And there were still people BBQ-ing out there when I took the picture! (^^)


The one below was taken at 9:43:24 PM. Notice how the lights are now turned on.




The one below was taken at 10:00:20 PM. The darkness was equivalent to a Malaysian 7:15pm - 7:30pm I think.





So there you have it. Early summer. Long days where the sun sets at about 10pm and rises at goodness knows when. I know that the sky has already turned blue (like about 7am in Malaysia) before I went to bed at about 4am the other day/night (^^;)

I have mixed feelings about this. For one, you can still be out even at 9pm and not notice it, unlike during winter. Me likey. The bad thing is that birds are already chirping at 3am; and with the sun rising so early, I have to say I'm lucky not to have any morning sun in my room (>.<)

haha..when I was in NZ, we usually took dinner after 9pm because we still jalan-jalan at 9pm and did not feel it was night. The room I slept in have morning sun at 4am+
