jOSiAh's ^_~ Haven

Potsdam is a city southwest of Berlin, and is accessible by S-Bahn from Berlin. I went there on a day trip.

I have attempted to search for the Einstein Tower, but did not manage to find it (T_T)

Anyhow, I took pictures of visited Schloss Babelsberg (Babelsberg Palace), which is part of the UNESCO Word Heritage Site.




Here is a closer view of the place. Babelsberg Palace was built as a summer residence of Emperor Wilhelm I.




Outside, in the garden/park where the palace overlooks.




After that, it rained. Heavily. I was drenched. (X.X;)


After the rain had subsided (subsided, not stopped!), I visited the more famous Schloss Sanssouci (Sanssouci Palace). This is yet another UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is the former summer residence of Fredrick the Great.

A short distance from Schloss Sanssouci is the Orangery.



I would have enjoyed this place better if it wasn't raining incessantly (^^;)
