My Laptop is Back

Firstly, apologies for the lack of updates recently. I have been too busy with work and life. I was so busy that I didn't even have time to blog about food (>_>). At the same time, my laptop went kaput a few weeks ago. She started freezing occasionally since she came back from the UK, and finally decided to just stare at me with a blank screen when I try to run it T.T

After a few days of not being able to wake her up, I finally brought her to hospital (a.k.a. HP Service Centre). Then left her at hospital for them to run inhumane experiments and tests some diagnosis. The result? A nice quotation in my mailbox several days later >.<

RM1,126!! *faints* Oh yes, they must be very very very pleased to submit their quotation for the service of my product (>.<) Apparently, the system board is faulty (T.T) And the "labour" charge (for diagonsis and repair) is just daylight roberry! The worst part is: my warranty period has just passed last month (ToT)

I finally decided to pay for it since my laptop is still too young (>.<) After weeks of attempting to survive with other people's wives PCs as well as spending late nights in the office with my big fat secretary office desktop, my laptop has finally returned. Not as good as new of course (T.T)

One annoying thing that I have just realised is regarding the touch sensitive buttons above the keyboard (see image). They used to respond with a nice gentle "pop" sound when I touch them. Now, they respond with a high-pitched, ear-piercing squeak. I assume someone must have forgotten to wire the system board properly. (>.<)

Anyway, that's all for now. Let me catch up with my laptop (>,<)
